Recent Production
The Maids by Jean Genet
Thank you to so many people who made this production so beautiful and memorable!
The brilliant creative team produced the play with love, passion and bucket loads of talent. Their efforts were rewarded by a FIVE STAR review in North West End, and by the hundreds of comments on Instagram and Facebook.
Thank you to the refugees and asylum seekers from Afloat Theatre who participated in four weeks of workshops exploring the themes of the play and creating a moving exhibition in the foyer of the Unity Theatre,
Thank you to the 8 care homes whose residents created the most beautiful flowers in memory of a loved one who is no longer with use. Their artwork certainly brightened up the public spaces in the theatre..
Thank you to Arts Council England for financial support, and thank you to those who donated towards the production costs of the play.

What we do
That Theatre Group CIC produces work with and for older people living in care.
We record the memories of care home residents and use these to create scripts which develop into original professional theatre productions.
We provide meaningful therapeutic engagement for people living with dementia, and encourage older people not only to share their much-loved memories with us, but also to reflect on the present day and communicate their hopes and dreams for the future.
